The frogs who lived there were used to being overlooked. Big things happened above them every day. None of it ever reached the water.
One frog never stopped looking up.
He wore a worn green hood and kept his head low, but his eyes were always on the sky. The others called him Hood. Not because he was hiding. Because he came from the hood, and he never forgot it.
